The latest updates indicate that the NEET UG 2023 exam is scheduled for May 7, and the NEET 2023 registration date will be announced soon on neet.nta.nic.in. In the previous year, more than 18 lakh candidates registered for NEET UG, with women accounting for over 10 lakh and men over eight lakh. In order to avoid any issues during the admission process, it is crucial to enter accurate information in the NEET 2023 application. The NEET application form 2023 will be considered complete only after the fee is submitted, with different rates for each category. The correction window for registered candidates will be available for a limited period to allow them to modify their application forms.

The counselling process for admission to various institutes, including the 15% of All India Quota (AIQ), 85% of a state quota, central/deemed universities, private colleges, ESIC/AFMS institutes, JIPMER and AIIMS campuses, will be conducted based on the NEET scores of 2023. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the counselling process for the 15% of All India Quota admissions, while the respective state authorities will be responsible for the counselling process for the remaining 85% state quota.

Medical students who intend to take the NEET exam for the upcoming academic year should be well-versed with the NEET 2023 syllabus, which comprises three subjects – Biology (Zoology and Botany), Physics, and Chemistry. The syllabus will cover topics from Class 10 to Class 12 in these three subjects, allowing students preparing for their board exams to undergo common preparation during the initial stages.
